Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation Holds 57th Anniversary Event
Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT, President Hong Moon-pyo) held a ceremony to commemorate its 57th anniversary at its headquarters in Naju on the 28th.
This event was designed to commemorate the achievements of the project and share a vision for the future by awarding meritorious employees who have contributed to the development of the agricultural and food industry and presenting plaques of appreciation to related organizations and support companies.
In particular, this event was more meaningful as it invited heads of agricultural organizations and heads of public institutions related to agriculture to share the management philosophy and belief of President Hong Moon-pyo that “Korea will become a strong, advanced country only when rural areas and farmers and fishermen (livestock) prosper,” and to discuss the future direction of innovation for the corporation.
Hong Moon-pyo, aT CEO, emphasized, “Since the corporation is responsible for the development of rural areas and farmers and fishermen, as well as the stability of the people’s food supply, it must approach its work with a flexible and proactive attitude in accordance with the rapidly changing environment.” In particular, he presented the corporation’s seven innovation directions to respond to major issues such as climate change and population decline, and requested cooperation from executives and employees as well as related organizations and agricultural groups.
