22nd Cosmoprof North America 2025 Designates ‘Korea Day’… IBITA to Collaborate with U.S. IBA on MoCRA

“IBITA Successfully Operates Korea Pavilion at Cosmoprof Las Vegas 2025 with Over 80 Companies”
“Exhibitors Offered Opportunity to Enter ‘Fall in Beauty’ Online Mall and Dubai Outlet in GCC Region”

Mr. JT Youn, President of the Korea International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA), organized a unified Korea Pavilion at the 2025 Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) Las Vegas, showcasing over 80 participating Korean beauty companies. This year’s event, held July 15–17, kicked off as a major B2B beauty platform, attracting buyers, importers/exporters, distributors, and brand owners from around the world.

Now in its 22nd edition since its launch in 2003, Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas has become one of the top three global beauty exhibitions and the premier B2B trade show for the Americas. Over 1,000 companies and more than 26,000 visitors from 110+ countries are expected to attend.

With U.S.-China trade tensions escalating in 2025, many Korean brands are shifting focus away from China and viewing the U.S. as a strategic alternative. Expectations for this year’s CPNA are higher than ever among Korean participants.

However, challenges remain. Many Korean companies make the mistake of applying the same strategies that succeeded in Korea directly to the U.S. market, often overlooking the need to adapt to the complex regulatory and cultural landscape of the United States. This includes inadequate preparation for the 25% U.S. tariff policy. Recognizing this, IBITA is working with the U.S. IBA under the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) to support Korean exporters.

The IBITA Korea Pavilion features outstanding beauty brands from regions across Korea, including Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Chungbuk, and Gyeongbuk. Companies exhibited across multiple sectors—cosmetics, nails, hair, salon products, packaging, OEM/ODM, labeling, and containers—drawing keen attention from global buyers.

K-beauty was further spotlighted during a special “Korea Day”, positioning Korean skincare, cosmetics, and haircare brands as key drivers of future growth in the U.S. market. The event served as a major opportunity for global networking and trend discovery.

Celebrating its 15th year operating the Korea Pavilion at CPNA, IBITA projects export consultations to surpass USD 50 million, matching last year’s record.

President Youn emphasized that expanding K-beauty globally remains essential. The exhibition offered strategic opportunities for Korean brands to grow and enter the U.S. market.

In collaboration with Dubai’s Index Group, IBITA also announced a strategic initiative for the Middle East GCC region through the “Fall in Beauty” online mall. This platform aims to offer curated K-beauty selections to GCC consumers and create long-term, profitable growth.

“Through our partnership with Dubai Index Group, we’re building a broader platform to lead K-beauty expansion across the Middle East. We’re excited to connect Korean brands with beauty-savvy consumers through innovation and expertise,” said Mr. JT Youn.

Cosmoprof North America continues to be recognized for its curated spaces reflecting diversity and innovation. In addition to Las Vegas, Cosmoprof North America Miami is accepting exhibitor applications for January 2026.

Korean companies interested in joining the 2026 CPNA Miami or other international beauty expos can contact IBITA’s Americas & Europe Exhibition Team at +82-2-6268-2606 or ibita@ibita.or.kr.
