Launch of the New Asia Chapter of the Global Cosmetics Cluster (GCC)

The Global Cosmetics Cluster (GCC), the world’s first international network dedicated to the cosmetics industry, is pleased to announce the launch of GCC Asia, a new regional chapter aimed at strengthening collaboration within the Asian cosmetics sector.

This initiative is being spearheaded by leading Asian clusters, including the Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC), the Korea International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA), Taiwan Beauty Valley, the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), and the Thai Cosmetic Cluster (TCOS).

The official launch will be announced during the JCC General Assembly in Karatsu, Japan on June 11, 2025.

GCC Asia aims to enhance regional cooperation among Asian cosmetics clusters, promote innovation, and support the international growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the beauty and personal care industries.

Initially co-coordinated by JCC and IBITA, GCC Asia will work closely with member clusters to facilitate knowledge exchange, co-organize joint events, increase Asia’s visibility within the GCC global network, and support sustainable innovation in the regional cosmetics industry.

This movement reflects a shared commitment among Asian clusters to unite and amplify Asia’s voice within the global beauty ecosystem.

The launch of GCC Asia has received official approval from the GCC Board of Directors and will fully align with the global network’s governance and mission.
