Gwacheon National Science Museum opens “Science and Technology Data Archive” website
Gwacheon National Science Museum (Director Han Hyeong-joo) announced that it will open the “Science and Technology Data Archive” website on July 1.
“Science and Technology Feed Archive” is a website where you can search science and technology feeds owned by the Gwacheon National Science Museum and find detailed information on each feed.
The Gwacheon National Science Museum has continuously researched and collected scientific and technological materials with high historical and educational value in order to preserve Korea’s precious scientific and technological cultural heritage and contribute to the development of future scientific and technological development. This “Science and Technology Archive” website was built to introduce the role of the Gwacheon National Science Museum and inform the public of the value of science and technology cultural heritage.

In the case of ‘listed public historical materials’, all contents can be checked only by visiting the Science and Technology Historical Museum located within the Gwacheon National Science Museum. The Science and Technology Museum is located on the 3rd floor of the Gwacheon National Science Museum’s permanent exhibition hall and is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays.
Han Hyeong-ju, director of the Gwacheon National Science Museum, said, “This is the first attempt to preserve scientific and technological data and inform the public, so I hope that through this, many people will recognize the research and value of scientific and technological data.”
He also added that the “Science and Technology Data Archive” website is expected to be used not only by science and technology researchers but also in various fields such as education, publishing, exhibitions, and broadcasting.
