Digital Beauty Summit 2025: Innovation and Digitalization in the Beauty Industry
On January 23, Madrid hosted the Digital Beauty Summit, an event that brought together 150 professionals from the cosmetics, perfumery, and personal care industries at an iconic and historically significant venue: Yelmo Ideal Cinema, one of Spain’s oldest cinemas and a symbol of innovation in its time. This emblematic setting served as a reminder of the importance of adapting to change and embracing digital transformation.
Organized by Beauty Cluster, the event established itself as a key forum for discussing the opportunities and challenges of digitalization and e-commerce in the beauty industry. Attendees enjoyed insightful presentations from industry leaders, who shared their expertise and strategies for navigating the digital landscape.
Event Highlights
David García, General Manager of Laboratorios Ximart and Vice President of Beauty Cluster, opened the event by highlighting Beauty Cluster’s role as a catalyst for industry growth and a hub for beauty companies.
The first presentation was delivered by Cristina Pérez, Head of Strategy & Innovation at Kantar Insights, who emphasized the growing importance of online channels and how to accelerate an e-beauty strategy.
Justo Hidalgo, Chief AI Officer at Adigital, then explored the role of artificial intelligence in his talk, “Companies on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown: Governance Strategies to Turn AI Regulation into Business Growth.”
Next, Rebeca Lamata, Sales Team Manager Spain at Lengow, explained how to enhance the digital presence of beauty e-commerce in 2025.
Paula Sebastián, Beauty Category Manager at TikTok, exclusively introduced TikTok Shop innovations in Spain for the first time.
Closing the morning session, Jaime del Valle, Global Director, Beauty Tech Services Omnichannel Scale & Success at L’Oréal, captivated the audience with insights into L’Oréal’s approach to technology with his presentation, “L’Oréal Beauty Tech: Beauty for Each, Powered by Tech.”
Networking and Afternoon Sessions
During the coffee break, sponsored by Cristina Oria, attendees had the opportunity to network and connect with other professionals in the industry.
The second session was opened by Mario Cadafalch, Innovation Digital Technology Director at Puig, who introduced “Innovative Solutions for Digitally Transforming the Perfumery Experience and Business,” showcasing Wikiparfum and ScentXP.
The event also provided insights on audience engagement, with David Tomás, Co-founder and CEO of Cyberclick, presenting strategies for “People-Led Marketing to Drive the Beauty Industry Forward.”
To conclude the series of presentations, Alejandro Prieto, Director of the Data Protection and Digital Regulation Department at Autocontrol, unveiled for the first time “The Code on Influencer Advertising: A Useful Tool for Brands and Content Creators.”

The event wrapped up with a panel discussion, moderated by Sara Jiménez, Communication Manager at Beauty Cluster, featuring experts from different fields:
