Announcement of the 2025 Chungcheongbuk-do Small and Medium Enterprise Trade Promotion Comprehensive Implementation Plan
Chungcheongbuk-do Province announced that it has finalized and announced the 2025 Comprehensive Promotion Plan for Trade and Commerce for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
According to the province on the 12th, the same budget of 6.9 billion won as last year will be invested to strengthen the overseas marketing sector, which is highly preferred by export companies, to support 5,055 companies through 48 projects in 2025. Last year, 46 trade and commerce projects were operated, providing 13,635 export support services to 5,092 companies.
This year, the trade and trade business promotion directions have been set as follows: △ Maintaining the export growth momentum through expanding overseas exhibitions to promote exports of key items and diversifying the export market for comprehensive items and diversifying items; △ Fostering export businesses oriented toward export performance through strengthening customized competitiveness for each export strategy stage and strengthening individual marketing to respond quickly to the trade environment; and △ Maximizing support effects through improving the support system that reflects objective results such as satisfaction, export performance, preference, and follow-up export performance.
In particular, the main contents of the trade business are as follows: First, a total of 2.39 billion won will be invested in overseas marketing business for export promotion and market diversification of main items. 660 million won will be invested in participating in overseas trade exhibitions for export promotion by sector, and 75 companies in 8 businesses will be supported. 830 million won will be invested in dispatching overseas trade delegations for market diversification, and 120 companies in 9 businesses will be supported. 900 million won will be invested in overseas marketing activities of companies beginning to export, and 335 companies in 11 businesses will be supported.
In addition, to promote exports of key items, we will participate in new overseas exhibitions such as Battery Show Europe (Germany), Hanoi Vietnam Expo, Las Vegas ASD Fair, Jakarta Premium Consumer Goods Fair, Dubai Beauty World, Guangzhou Autumn Import and Export Fair, and Dubai Building Materials Fair. We will dispatch new trade missions to India and Central and South America. We will newly promote a comprehensive trade consultation meeting for the consumer goods industry. We will support video consultations using Compass to strengthen online overseas marketing for start-up companies. However, the corporate share of the independent booth rental fee for overseas trade exhibition business will be adjusted to 25%.
The 2025 Chungcheongbuk-do Trade and Commerce Project will be promoted in collaboration with five operating organizations in Chungcheongbuk-do, including the Chungcheongbuk-do Enterprise Promotion Agency, the Korea International Trade Association Chungbuk Regional Headquarters, the Cheongju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the KOTRA Chungbuk Support Group, and the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation Chungbuk Headquarters.
