2024 Cosmoprof in Mumbai, India Opens Successfully, IBITA & Kotra Government-Supported Joint Korean Pavilion
IBITA (International Beauty Industry Trade Association) Chairman Yoon Ju-tak announced that the ‘Cosmoprof India 2024’, which will be held in Mumbai, India from December 5 to 7, 2024 (for 3 days), will be held as a joint organizing organization of IBITA and KOTRA, with 32 Korean companies supporting the government.
This exhibition was attended by approximately 50 domestic companies, including 32 companies from IBITA and KOTRA’s Korean Pavilion and individual participating companies, providing a practical and important opportunity for export marketing and information exchange in the Indian market with innovative technologies and excellent products from the Korean cosmetics and beauty industry.
Cosmoprof India 2024 officially began successfully on the 5th, with 700 participating companies from 21 countries across Europe, America, and Asia participating in 9 national pavilions and competing with promising brands from each country.
In particular, the opening day marked the beginning of a spectacular event that brought together the most influential minds, trend sectors and developers in the beauty and cosmetics industry, and this year’s edition opened its doors on an exciting journey into the latest trends, cutting-edge innovations and groundbreaking advancements in the industry that are shaping the future of beauty.

Compared to previous years, this year’s show has expanded to include an impressive four halls dedicated to showcasing all sectors of the beauty industry.
Cosmoprof India was expanded to include Jasmine Halls 1,2 – 3rd floor and Cosmopack India (Pavilions 1,2 – Ground floor), and the level of focus among visitors was high, leading to high satisfaction among companies.
As the Korean representative office of the 19 GCC countries, a global cosmetics cluster, IBITA Chairman Yoon Joo-tak is actively supporting the global expansion of Korean companies through networks in each country when operating overseas exhibitions by establishing various international cooperation networks to support the overseas expansion of the Korean cosmetics and beauty industry.
Team leader Yoon Gyu-yeon, who is in charge of the Korea Pavilion at IBITA Cosmoprof India, said, “The participation of excellent domestic manufacturing brands with outstanding technologies made the Korea Pavilion shine even more at Cosmoprof India this year,” and “We will do our best to support the participating companies so that they can achieve maximum results during the remaining exhibition period.”
The participating companies said that they are expecting the greatest results ever by promoting the appeal of K-beauty to the Indian market through active business meetings with buyers and strengthening their position in the global market. In addition, through joint operation with KOTRA, KOTRA is also inviting many buyers and supporting 1:1 matching, thereby providing a solid foundation for domestic companies to advance into the global market.
Currently, the International Beauty Industry Trade Association is hosting a total of 70 promising overseas exhibitions, including Beauty World Saudi Arabia, Cosmoprof Bologna, Italy, Beauty Eurasia Turkey, Vietnam Skin Beauty Professional Exhibition, Hangzhou Haichangzhou Consumer Goods Exhibition China, and Beauty World & Beauty Expo Taiwan.
