The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups) reported that, starting on August 9, 747 applications for emergency management stabilization funds for small and medium-sized businesses and small business owners suffering from unsettled payments from Timon and WeMakePrice have been counted, totaling KRW 148.3 billion. .

Specifically, as of 18:00 on August 11, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups received 352 applications for KRW 15.3 billion for the Small and Medium Business Corporation’s emergency management stabilization fund (hereinafter referred to as the small business stabilization fund), and the Small and Medium Business Corporation’s emergency management stabilization fund (hereinafter referred to as the small business stabilization fund). Regarding SME funds (hereinafter referred to as “small and medium-sized enterprises” funds), it was revealed that 395 cases, amounting to 133 billion won, were received.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to operate micro-vacancy funds in the amount of KRW 170 billion, and announced that it will continue to accept applications for micro-vacancy funds in the future. On the other hand, in the case of the SME fund, it was originally planned to be operated at a scale of 30 billion won, but as the application amount reached 133 billion won, applications will be closed, but it is planned to review support measures as much as possible for the received cases.

In addition, small and medium-sized businesses that have suffered damage from Timon and WeMakePrice unsettled payments can use the agreement program between Industrial Bank of Korea and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (total of KRW 300 billion) in addition to SME funds. Starting August 9, if you apply for a special guarantee at any of the Credit Guarantee Fund’s 99 branches nationwide, funds will be provided by Industrial Bank of Korea after a guarantee screening by the Credit Guarantee Fund. For reference, applications for small business funds can be made through the Small Business Policy Fund website (ols.semas.or.kr) and at 77 regional centers across the country, and applications will be accepted continuously, including weekends, until the funds are exhausted.
