Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries holds the ’11th Jeju International Cruise Forum’ on Jeju Island for 3 days starting July 10th.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister Kang Do-hyung) and Jeju Island (Governor Oh Young-hoon) announced that they will co-host the ’11th Jeju International Cruise Forum (2024 ASIA Cruise Forum Jeju)’ on Jeju Island for three days from July 10th to 12th.
The Jeju International Cruise Forum celebrates its 11th anniversary this year and has established itself as Asia’s leading cruise industry expo. It is a platform where major cruise lines and key officials from ports of call in Asia gather every year to share and discuss information, playing an important role in the development of the Asian cruise industry.
The theme of this forum is ‘Sustainable growth and future vision of the Asian cruise industry’, and conference sessions and global shipping companies’ detailed topics include ‘Global cruise trends and cooperation’ and ‘Challenges in revitalizing the Korean cruise industry from the perspective of shipping companies’ It consisted of a session introducing the company’s operation strategy in Asia.
