BTS RM, V & Jimin, Jungkook enlisted in the army yesterday and today… All members enter military hiatus
Jimin and Jungkook of the group BTS will enlist together as active-duty soldiers in the army on the 12th. As a result, all seven members of BTS will fulfill their military service obligations. On this day, Jimin and Jungkook enter an army division recruit training center and begin their military service.
Their expected discharge date is June 2025, and BTS plans to resume team activities after that. Jin, who was the first to enlist, has already been in the military for a year, and recently announced that he was promoted to sergeant.
The day before, Jimin expressed his thoughts through Weverse Live, saying, “I think I will have a lot of will to enlist with Jungkook,” and “I will do a great job.”
Jungkook also said on Weverse Live on the 8th, “It’s been a really busy life (so far). “Thanks to you, I am able to do happy activities,” he said. “I think the military is a place that men should definitely go to.”
BTS has prepared a variety of content for ‘ARMY’ (BTS fandom) to celebrate their military gap. Jungkook said, “You can look forward to it because we have so much in store.”
Also, on the 11th, RM and V received a send-off from the remaining members and enlisted in the army as active-duty soldiers before Jimin and Jungkook. According to the music industry, RM and V entered Nonsan Training Center this afternoon and began their military service.
Members Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook were present at the enlistment site, showing their close friendship.
Meanwhile, BTS’s eldest brother Jin enlisted in the military in December last year and J-Hope in April this year, and Suga has been working as a social worker since last September. It was reported that members who were completing military service took leave and went to see the members off.
