IBITA and KOTRA co-host the Korean Pavilion at the 2023 Dubai Beauty World (Beauty World Middle East Dubai)… Export consultation amount reached nearly 25 million dollars on opening day alone!
The International Beauty Industry Trade Association (Chairman Joo-taek Yoon, hereinafter referred to as IBITA) jointly hosted KOTRA and IBITA at the “2023 Dubai Beauty World Cosmetics and Beauty Expo (Beauty World Middle East 2023),” which is attracting attention as the largest cosmetics and beauty exhibition in the Middle East and the world. Hosted by about 50 government-supported Korean pavilions and IBITA pavilions, they participated. In addition, the 2023 Dubai Beauty World was successfully opened, creating a second Middle East boom, with a total of 100 Korean companies, including local governments, participating.
With more than 1,750 participating exhibitors from 57 countries, organizers estimate there will be over 500,000 overseas buyers. It consists of 25 international country pavilions from October 30 to November 1, and is held for three days from 10 am to 6 pm every day at Dubai World Trade Center.
In particular, this year, this exhibition will be held in 15 halls with global trends and innovations, real-time demonstrations, seminars, etc., and an organizer official said, “Participating companies will experience the world of beauty & business like never before through 7 great conference highlights. “It will,” he said.
Beauty World Middle East is the Middle East’s largest international trade fair dedicated to cosmetics, beauty, hair, fragrance and overall wellness. Dubai Beauty World holds a prestigious position as one of the most influential and well-attended beauty trade exhibitions in the world, providing trade professionals with an invaluable opportunity to interact directly with exhibitors over three days, making meaningful business connections. It is also a promising expo to promote.
Potential overseas buyers and business partners from the Middle East and MENA region visit the exhibition, leading cosmetics companies from around the world participate, and events such as the latest products and trends, conferences and awards are also held.
The IBITA Korean Pavilion is located right next to the US Pavilion and the European Pavilion in the International Pavilion, which consists of national pavilions, providing a great opportunity to meet big overseas buyers.
In particular, the IBITA Korea Pavilion achieved great results by early confirmation of KOTRA government support for 2023 and custom-matching by directly inviting 200 influential buyers from KOTRA’s Middle East headquarters.
IBITA Chairman Yoon Ju-taek invited buyers interested in beauty from the Middle East and MENA region through Dubai’s local BPC (Office) as usual, and played an active role in energizing Middle Eastern buyers not only in the IBITA Korean pavilion but also in the entire exhibition.
In order to facilitate the entry of existing participating companies into the Middle East, IBITA will first provide certification and licensing consulting from official licensing agencies of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabian governments, which are essential for exports to the Middle East, to participating companies applying for the 2024 Dubai Beauty World Cosmetics and Beauty Expo in December. “It will be implemented from now on,” Chairman Yoon Ju-taek said. Through consulting, △Korean cosmetics and beauty companies will receive support for halal certification, permits, and licenses from the BPC jointly established by the UAE and IBITA in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. △An agreement between the UAE government and IBITA will allow Korean cosmetics and beauty companies to enter the Middle East MENA. We provide support to smoothly proceed with licensing issues that are essential for export, such as matching with local buyers. He added, “Participating companies in the IBITA Korean Pavilion will also receive consulting on the online and offline purchasing business of Dubai Index Group, which has 100 years of history, and the only licensing consulting service currently available in the UAE BPC Middle East export support project.”
Meanwhile, the opportunity was given to experience, learn, and discover premium global brands and network with more than 50,000 industry peers, and the opportunity was given to 19 GCC (Global Cosmetak Cluster) countries, including France, the United States, Spain, and Turkey. An official said that exchanges were arranged by IBITA and that exchanges between each participating country were active.
