Beauty company in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 2023 Cosmoprof Las Vegas contract consultation performance of 11.4 billion won
Six beauty companies in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, achieved contract consultations worth 8.8 million dollars (approximately 11.4 billion won) in Las Vegas in 2023.
From July 11th to 13th, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, together with the Korea International Trade Association, participated in the ‘2023 North American Cosmoprof Las Vegas’ held in Las Vegas, USA, accompanied by six local beauty companies. Cosmoprof North America, which is in its 20th year this year, is the largest B2B beauty fair in North America and is also called the gateway to the American continent.
Through the International Beauty Industry Trade Association, Gangnam-gu is a beauty company located in Cosmoprof Las Vegas, and companies such as Parquet Co., Ltd., Daisyk Co., Ltd., Modam Global Nature Co., Ltd., Raon Commerce Co., Ltd., Caremile Co., and Coriel Co., Ltd. participated. Six beauty companies in Gangnam-gu, Seoul introduced cosmetics and hair products, and a total of 150 buyer consultations were held with the six companies, resulting in contract consultations worth 11.4 billion won.
During the Cosmoprof Las Vegas period, Gangnam-gu subsidized some of the participation costs of the six participating companies, and the Korea International Trade Association helped arrange on-site buyer consultations and enter Trade Korea, an online exhibition hall.
Gangnam-gu Mayor Cho Seong-myeong said, “I hope the results achieved at this Cosmoprof exhibition will serve as a bridgehead for targeting the North American market.”
Meanwhile, Gangnam-gu plans to participate in the ‘Dubai Beauty World’ exhibition held in Dubai at the end of October this year. Participating companies are invited until the 28th of this month.
