Rain falling in Jeju and Jeonnam is expected to extend to Jeonbuk and western Gyeongsangnam-do in the morning of the 4th, and the time when the precipitation zone expands to the whole country is expected to be at night.
From noon on the 3rd to the present, it has been raining in Jeju and Jeonnam. Jeju City and Seogwipo City, Jeju, received 84.1 mm and 133.5 mm of precipitation, respectively, from noon the previous day to 8 a.m. on the same day. In addition, 16mm and 15.7mm of rain fell in Jindo-gun and Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do, respectively.
The rain that started in Jeju and Jeonnam last night is expected to fall in all of Gyeongnam, southern Gyeongbuk, and Chungnam this afternoon, and it is expected that the precipitation zone will expand nationwide from this night.
Unlike the previous day’s forecast, the metropolitan area is expected to start raining from late afternoon to evening today. The rain that started at night is expected to continue until dawn in the metropolitan area on the 6th, in the central region and Gyeongbuk until the morning of the same day, and in Honam and Gyeongnam until daytime.
On the other hand, a strong wind warning is currently issued in the mountains of Jeju, and a storm warning is issued in the far sea in the south of the West Sea and the far sea in the south of Jeju, and the waves will rise to a height of 2 to 4 m. During the Children’s Day holiday, which starts tomorrow, most of the sea will be windy, so be careful.
