International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA) signed a business agreement with Jeju Cosmetics Certification Company Association(JCCA)
Youn Joo-taek, the chairman of the International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA), signed a business agreement with JCCA (Chairman Lee Ji-won) of the Jeju Cosmetics Certification Business Association at the conference room of UCL Co., Ltd. on Jeju Island on the 8th of Feb.
Chairman Lee Ji-won said, “Jeju Cosmetics Certification System is the first local cosmetics quality certification system certified by the Jeju Governor, and the term Jeju Cosmetics itself has been an opportunity to develop into a global branding.”
With the agreement between JCCA and IBITA, the Jeju cosmetics beauty industry has stepped up efforts to revitalize overseas expansion businesses of Jeju Cosmetics Certification Association and Jeju companies through IBITA’s overseas network. IBITA is a global overseas exhibition association that supports Korean exporters by discovering 75 cosmetics beauty exhibitions and promising overseas fairs in 45 countries.
In particular, Youn Joo-taek, the chairman of IBITA, signed an official business agreement with the UAE government in 2018, and is currently serving as a window for the UAE Moiat Korean office. In addition, it is the representative headquarters of BPC Korea affiliated with UAE FCI Group, providing export support for Korean companies to the Middle East and MENA, and is leading mission events at cosmetics beauty fairs around the world as the chairperson of the GCC event committee.
IBITA Chairman Youn Joo-taek said, “Among 75 exhibitions in 45 overseas countries, we have promoted them in connection with Jeju Island’s MICE industry by utilizing promising exhibition IBITA PR halls.””We decided to promote overseas exchanges such as offline export consultation meetings and local buyer matching with JCCA.”
As the first cooperation project with Jeju Island, IBITA and JCCA will organized the Jeju Certification Cosmetic Korean Pavilion in Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2023 , and JCCA were decided to continue to cooperate in overseas exhibitions and trade support projects conducted by IBITA in the Hong Kong Cosmoprof Asia and the 2nd South American (Brazil, Mexico) Mission Korea’s Export Consultation Conference in May.
After the signing ceremony, Jeju Techno Park team leader Kim Bong-seok, researcher Kim Dae-kyung, parties to the agreement, and working-level officials promised at a meeting of three organizations to improve the brand competitiveness of Jeju cosmetics and protect the image of Jeju.
The JCCA and the IBITA are expected to cooperate with European GCC and UAE Halal certification agencies to promote Jeju certification, developing Jeju’s specialized comprehensive MICE industry and boosting exports to Middle East and Europe.
