Korean 119 Rescue Team Commended for Swift Response to Colorado Crash
The swift response of Korean 119 rescue workers is drawing attention following a tragic traffic accident that occurred on the 17th (local time) in the state of Colorado, USA.

Nine members of the Korean 119 Rescue team, currently in Colorado for a nine-day swiftwater rescue training program hosted by Golden Fire-Rescue, were returning to their hotel when they came across the crash site.

Without hesitation, the firefighters secured the scene, called 911, and pulled a passenger from the truck involved in the accident. The victim was in cardiac arrest, and the team immediately began performing CPR, taking turns administering chest compressions until local emergency crews arrived.
Although the victim sadly did not survive, Golden Fire-Rescue expressed deep gratitude for the Korean team’s swift and professional response. “Their actions serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of knowing CPR,” the department said in a statement. “You never know when you’ll have the opportunity to use it—and it could save a life.”
