Providing a venue for sharing know-how for customized employment support for college and high school students

The Korea Employment Information Service (Director Chang-soo Lee) announced that it will hold the ‘2025 University Student Customized Employment Service and High School Student Customized Employment Service 1st Business Sharing Session’  at Maison Glad in Jeju for three days from April 9  .

   This business sharing meeting, held in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the National University Job Plus Center Council, was designed to strengthen the capacity of counselors who provide customized employment services to university students and high school students. Approximately 400 people, including officials from 64 universities nationwide that provide customized employment services for university students, officials from 27 universities that provide customized employment services for high school students, and officials from the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service, will attend the event.

< Overview of the 1st Business Sharing Session for Customized Employment Services for University Students and Customized Employment Services for High School Students in 2025 >  ○ Date and Location: April 9 (Wed) ~ April 11 (Fri), 2025, Maison Glad, Jeju ○ Attendees: Korea Employment Information Service, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Customized Employment Services for University Students, Customized Employment Services for High School Students ○ Main Contents: 2025 business operation direction, business operation data and computer utilization guidance, introduction and sharing of programs by university operating the business, consultant job special lectures, etc.

  This business sharing session will begin with the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s 2025 business direction guidance, followed by a job special lecture to improve the capabilities of consultants participating in the project, and an introduction to the Future Straight Program, a future job exploration program for young people that can be utilized in business practice. Then, on the second day of the business sharing session, the universities participating in each project will introduce their operating programs in an exhibition format, providing a venue for sharing where universities can benchmark similar cases.

 Director Lee Chang-soo said, “In order for youth career path setting and employment support to be customized for each target and individual ,  the role of customized employment services for current students and customized employment services for high school students is very important,” adding , “The Korea Employment Information Service will continue to strive to provide quality support so that customized youth employment services can be provided . ” 

  Meanwhile, the customized employment service for current students will be implemented from 2022 and is operated by 64 universities nationwide for the purpose of providing systematic career guidance and employment support to current students. The customized employment service for high school students will be implemented by 27 universities using the expertise of the University Job Plus Center to target youth who are not attending specialized high schools and humanities high schools in the vicinity.
