aT ‘K-Food Export Public Hearing’ Completed, Leading the Expansion of Korean Food Territory!

On the 25th, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT, President Hong Moon-pyo) invited around 100 people including agricultural and food product export companies and related organizations to the KT Human Resources Development Center in Daejeon and successfully held the ‘Agricultural and Food Product Export Support Project Public Hearing’ to expand sustainable K-food exports and pioneer new markets.

At the hearing held that day, the direction of the 2025 aT Export Support Project to expand agricultural and food product exports was announced, followed by presentations on three topics: ▲ Plans to distribute new varieties and new technologies to respond to climate change ▲ Plans to improve the efficiency of the global growth package and low-temperature distribution system ▲ Plans to enter undeveloped markets.

After the announcement of the direction of advancement and the opening remarks, there was discussion and opinion gathering among the attendees for business improvement, and various alternatives were proposed to increase the competitiveness of agricultural and food product exports and strengthen the position of K-food in the global market of unlimited competition.

aT President Hong Moon-pyo, who chaired the hearing, said, “The hearing is a very important and valuable opportunity to discover various voices and novel ideas from the business field and reflect them in business,” and added, “We will always listen to the voices of exporters at the forefront of K-food globalization, and work closely with the government to take the lead in expanding the food territory of the Republic of Korea with more substantial agricultural and food product export support projects.”
